We request access from the Ansible server ansbl-p-mng-01 to the Unite Aware Maps servers in order to enable application deployments. The Ansible server is the central automation tool used for managing deployment procedures, and access is essential for deploying, updating, and maintaining application components on the target servers.

As per our standard deployment workflow, packages are first tested in the pre-production environment before being rolled out to production. Therefore, it is critical that the firewall rule includes both pre-production and production environments to ensure consistency and reliability in the deployment process.

Please note that:

The Ansible server is a single, controlled point of access.

This access is limited to deployment activities and tightly monitored.

Allowing this rule ensures proper CI/CD pipeline functionality and avoids manual or error-prone deployment alternatives.
